Sometimes it isn’t always the case that you get what you pay for, you can actually get some really great products for a small cost. I’ve rounded up my top 5 beauty items that give amazing results and all cost under 5 pounds.
To start with here is a multi-use little wonder from Superdrug’s own range, Coconut Oil for hair and skin. This little beauty can be applied to the ends of your hair for extra conditioning, massaged into your scalp to encourage healthy hair growth, moisturise your skin and remove your make up. Grab a small amount and rub it into your hands to melt it and apply to the desired area. For just £2.49 there’s no way you could be disappointed in such a useful product.
Next up is my absolutely favourite make up remover Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I’ve tried quite a few, even some on a much higher price tag and I still always go back to the . You can pick up the 125ml bottle for £1 from supermarkets, drugstores or discount shops. I squeeze some onto a cotton pad and wipe my make up off with ease. My skin feels clean and refreshed afterwards.
This toothpaste was recommended to me by a friend. It’s a extra black whitening toothpaste with activated charcoal and teavigo. On first use you can really see the difference in your teeth, it immediately removes stains and leaves your teeth glowing. I like to use this in the morning and a minty toothpaste at night. You can pick this up from Holland and Barrett for £4.49.
I’ve tried several products from Palmer’s and I am never disappointed. Their coconut range smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling supple and hydrated. Costing no more than a few pounds the larger bottles should last you a fair while. Applying this coconut oil body lotion after exfoliating and it will leave you so soft and smooth.
Last on the list is the Nivea Men Post Shave Balm. This claims to reduce irritation and redness after shaving. I put a small amount on my legs after going over them with a razor and They felt soothed and the red dots that appear on your skin disappeared. I felt more confident with getting my legs out without the post shave redness. It does have a strong masculine scent so I do like to do a few extra spritz with my perfume to mask the smell. This is often on sale for around £2.50 but you can pick it up for about £4-5 normally.
That’s it for my top 5 products under £5 I hope you try them out and love them as much as I do. Let me know how you get on!
