Project Pan- Make Up

Project pan is when you choose products from your collection that you would like to use up, or at least hit pan on. Seeing as it’s only 6 and a half weeks left until Christmas (eek), I’ve made it my mission to try and use up these bits of make up in order to make way for new cosmetics. This is also a great way to make more space and to cut back on your spending when it comes to make up because you’re finishing what you already have instead of buying new products.

First on my project pan list is the Freedom Pro Concealer Palette. As you can see I’ve already hit pan on 5 of the shades in this palette and if I use it everyday, now until Christmas, I’m sure the palette will be nearly empty. I do like this but I prefer using liquid concealers in a tube. You can read my Concealer Reviews post to find out which ones I would recommend.

Next up is the Collection Bronze Glow in Matt. I’ve had this bronzer for ages and I’m just a bit bored of it now. I don’t really reach for it so I would like to start using it again just so I can hit pan and it not be a waste. It’s a decent bronzer that is very blendable and is so affordable at £2.99. As I no longer use sunbeds and rock a more pale complexion these days, this is too warm for me and I need a shade lighter.

I don’t know why but I’ve always just seemed to have lots of mascaras in my make up collection. This is the L’Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara which I do really like. It’s so lengthening and doesn’t clump your lashes together. I’ve had this a good few months now and need to finish it before it goes off.

You may recognise this NYX Butt Naked, Turn The Other Cheek Palette from my recent Brand Focus post. The matt shades I have started to use nearly everyday, as you can see the dark brown has already hit pan. A few of the other shades have dents in them so hoping to finish these off by the end of the year. I haven’t even touched most of the shimmers but coming up to Christmas I may experiment with more glitter. It would be interesting to see if I could actually finish an entire eyeshadow palette because it’s something I’ve never done before.

I’ve nearly finished the bottle on the NYX Matt Finish Setting Spray. If you read my Setting Sprays On Trial post you will know I’m not a fan of this spray. My make up didn’t seem to last any longer and it just felt like spraying water on my face. I just want to use it up so it won’t be a total waste.

I purchased this Makeup Revolution Strobe Highlighter  because it was cheap and looked pretty but I’ve barely used it. The formula feels nice and creamy and gives your skin a subtle shimmer. As it’s turning to winter, I don’t want a blinding highlight so I want to start using this again, I doubt I will hit pan before Christmas but I’d like to at least make a dent.

Last on this Project Pan list is the L’Oreal Color Riche La Palette Nude In Beige. I got this last Christmas and whilst the eyeshadows are ok, they are not nearly as pigmented as some of the other ones I own. This would be suitable for everyday use but not if I want to impress. I’m hoping to at least make some use of the palette and hit pan on a few shades.

Well that’s it for my Project Pan- Make Up, I’m going to do another one of these but for skincare. I’ll keep you all posted on how it’s gone and if I managed to hit pan on anything. Thanks for reading XOXO.
