Project Pan is where I set myself the challenge to use up a selection of my beauty products. In this instance, I would like to have finished these skincare items by Christmas in order to make way for new items and to not waste my money on buying products that I already have at home. I also did a recent Project Pan post with my make up collection and by the end of the year I will let you all know how I got on and which items I managed to finish off.
First up is this AD Skin Synergy night treatment facial oil. I chose this for a beauty box because I like trying out different facial skincare but it isn’t right for me. My forehead in particular can get really oily so putting this on only made it worse but for the drier areas of my face, it seemed ok. The oil took a long time to sink into my skin and I would wake up with a shiny face. I didn’t feel any benefits for this but it may suit someone with all over dry skin. You can’t tell from the picture but there is only a third left of the bottle, if I use it between now and Christmas it should hopefully be gone.
Next is this Skin Therapy body lotion that came from a Christmas gift set I had received from a friend. Not really one for using body lotion because I prefer moisturisers, I have barely touched it. I’m going to make a conscious effort to use this more so I can use it up by Christmas. If I’m sat at the computer, I will put some of this on my arms just for a little extra hydration and it leaves them feeling soft and smooth.
I got this Lancome Cleanser in a beauty advent calendar last year and fell in love. It was really milky and creamy which felt lovely on the skin. I don’t know why I stopped using it but there isn’t much left and I’m sure I’ll be able to finish it off quickly. It’s suitable for your eyes as well as your face and doesn’t feel irritating in the slightest.
Another product from Lancome I want to use is this Bi-Facil Eye Make Up Remover. I forgot I even had this and only found it when I was rummaging through my skincare. The packaging of this is so pretty which makes me want to hoard it but I need to make space so this has to go. I’ve got about two thirds left of this but if I use it often it should be done by Christmas at the latest.
Last on this list is my Nivea hand cream. I only started recently using hand creams as it had never occurred to me to use one before. Now the weather is cold, I’m noticing my hands are getting dry and I want to look after them. This soaks into the skin quickly and doesn’t leave them feeling sticky. I’m not far off from finishing the tube so will probably be done soon.
That’s it for this Project Pan- Skincare post. I love doing these challenges, especially as we’re approaching the festive period, because I’ll most likely get more skincare and make up as presents and want to make sure I’ve used up what I have first. It’s also interesting to see how much of a product you use up too. Thanks for reading XOXO.
