My New Make Up Pieces

I’ve brought quite a few make up pieces recently and I wanted to share with you my new goodies. With Black Friday just passed I took that as an opportunity to bag some new make up that I had my eye on for a little discount.

When I saw this new foundation from The Ordinary for £6 on ASOS, I knew I had to give it a go. I got the full coverage version in the shade 1.1P and I’ll be posting a review of this Thursday, so if you want to know what it’s like, come check that out.

What do you buy from Amazon with a £10 gift card? The L’Oreal Paradise Mascara of course! I am expecting great things from this considering the price point is steeper than other drugstore mascaras. Not to mention all the wonderful things I’ve heard about it.

For someone who is constantly keeping her lip liner in check, I go through them so fast. This meant I had to replace another Rimmel Exaggerate in the shade 018 Addiction. I love this for a dark nude lip and it feels nice on my lips. Wanting a more ‘skin-like’ shade I opted for this Maybelline ColourStay liner in Nude Whisper. It’s the perfect light nude shade for me. I did find this a bit more drying than the Rimmel liner but I applied a lip balm over it to hydrate my lips.

Fortunately, I was lucky enough to receive this Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil free in a magazine. As someone with fairly dark eyebrows I am constantly on the look out for products than define my brows without making them look too harsh. I look forward to having a play with this.

To go with my new lighter nude lip liner, I wanted a lipstick to match. I have been lusting over MAC’s Cremesheen Creme D’Nude shade for a while and decided to finally purchase it when they were offering 10% off. However, when it arrived they had sent me a gold lipstick instead. Hence, why I haven’t took a photo of the colour because I will need to exchange it. I was also given 3 free samples with my order, 2 mini strobe creams and a mini mascara.

The final item of this beauty haul was this NailsInc Wish On A Star gift set. You may have seen this featured on my Beauty Wishlist post. I had no particular reason for buying this other than I wanted to treat myself.

I hope you enjoyed this beauty haul. Don’t forget I’ll be posting a review of The Ordinary foundation on Thursday if you want to hear how it performs. Thanks for reading XOXO.
