The Ordinary Foundation Review

When I saw The Ordinary Foundation pop onto my screen, my heart skipped a beat. I had heard a few people talking about this brand and they were really impressed. Naturally, I wanted to try for myself. The Ordinary is a brand that strives to offer highly effective products without the high price tag. With a choice between a serum and coverage foundation, I opted for the coverage, which I got in the shade 1.1 P. img_2401

By some stroke of luck, I managed to get the perfect shade (I think I’m getting good at this online shopping)! On first impressions of applying some onto my wrist, this felt really smooth and light on my skin.

The foundation itself is lightweight and blends easily. It managed to cover up the majority of the redness on my cheeks, which is something I really struggle with. As you can see from the photo there is only a small amount of redness on the top of my cheek that is visible. If you were standing more than a couple of feet away from me you wouldn’t even be able to tell. I felt confident enough to just wear the foundation on it’s own without adding a concealer on top. It lasted the whole day and that was without me even using setting spray.

Don’t be fooled by the small bottle, this is the same 30ml size that most foundations come in. They only look bigger due to the bulky glass packaging. Would I buy this again and recommend to others? Yes and yes again. It’s high coverage, lightweight, very blendable and best of all… it’s £6!

I hope you found this review useful. Let me know in the comments if you try The Ordinary Foundation, or if you’ve used anything else by that brand! I’m always looking for new products to love. Thanks for reading XOXO.
