I’ve been itching to write this post so I can start using my new products but I’ve had to patiently wait for my order to come from Tarte. Now, it’s here I can show you what I’ve brought post Christmas, some of which was in the sales.
First is this Zoeva Blush Palette which I fell in love with instantly. As someone who never really wears blush and doesn’t own very many, I decided to invest into this Pink Spectrum Blush palette. The different shades of pink won my heart as I can create a variety of looks. I adore the black and pink packaging it’s a slim black cardboard which feels high end and looks so chic. Zoeva is a brand I want to try more of as I hear nothing but good things about it. This wasn’t in the sale and cost £15.00.
As I was on Beauty Bay I also purchased this Morphe 35B Colour Glam Palette. My eyeshadow collection is pretty limited in terms of colour and I want to step out my beige comfort zone and experiment with other shades. This Morphe Palette is ideal to practice with as it’s so affordable and includes so many different colours. From pinks to blues to yellows, I’m excited to play with this and use all the different colours. I’ll do a review of this soon. This also wasn’t in the sale and cost £23.00.
Now one sale I did have to take advantage of was Tarte Comsetics. In the UK it can be quite difficult to get many Tarte products unless you want to pay extortionate shipping fees. However, on Boxing Day they were offering free international delivery. As I’m always lusting over their products I thought I would take a look at what was on offer. Immediately I was drawn to the limited edition Goddess Glow highlighter which was half price! It’s stunning and after missing out on the MAC Snowball highlighter, I’m thrilled to pick this up instead. I’ll be doing a review on this soon also. I paid £10.50 for this after an extra 25% discount.
Whilst on the Tarte website I also decided to purchase a £1.00 sample of the Amazon Clay foundation. I want to test it to see how good it is and if it would be ever worth the purchase. From the shade selection they have sent me I can already tell they are way too dark for me which is a shame but I can still see how well the formula is.
If you’re from the UK you would know about the infamous Boots sale after Christmas where all the gift sets go half price. I picked up this Sanctuary Spa set which comes in a lovely big glass jar. Inside there is a body lotion, body wash, bath soak, hand cream and a shower puff. They are 75ml each, apart from the hand cream that’s 30ml, which means they are ideal for travelling with. I’ll use the jar to store some bits in. This Sanctuary Spa set was reduced to £5.00.
I saw this Zoella Festive Cookie reed diffuser a while ago in store and fell in love with the scent. The price tag seemed a little bit steep so wasn’t too keen. Without even opening the bottle you get a whiff of cookies and I’m thrilled to be able to use this now. I’m sure it’s going to give me the biggest sugar cravings but my rooms going to smell uh-mazing! This was on sale for £7.00.
In my recent Make Up Favourites Of 2017 post I had spoke how much I adored these two L’Oreal foundations. As I was running low I picked up another True Match and two Infallible Total Covers because there was a 3 for 2 offer at Boots. These cost £9.99 each.
These JDY skinny jeans have been in my ASOS saved list for a while so when they went on sale I snapped them up straight away. I’ve been looking for some acid blue wash skinny jeans and these were perfect. I have another pair of JDY jeans and they fit like a glove. They are so soft and I would really recommend. I brought these for £14.00.
That’s it for what I’ve brought post Christmas in the sales. I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and New Year’s. Thanks for reading XOXO.
