As someone who needs no excuse to shop, I feel like I’m constantly on the lookout for my next holy grail product. I would like to experience and try more brands out this year so I don’t get stuck in a rut using the same products over and over. These are a select few brands that I’ve tried one or two pieces from and have thoroughly enjoyed thus creating a desire to trial more products.
The first brand I want to talk about is NARS. As it’s a more prestigious brand I only own one product but I really want to invest into more of their items this year. The new Radiant Longwear Foundation is on my radar and I hope to purchase it soon. I’m also interesting in seeing what all the hype about is with their cult favourite blusher in Orgasm. A big draw to me is the packaging, its minimal and expensive.
From the drugstore, a brand I’ve recently discovered is Sleek and so far I’ve been impressed with the products I’ve tried. Everything is affordable but high quality, I have yet to read a negative review. A particular favourite of mine is the Matte Me lip creams, I have a nude and a red shade but would like to expand my collection. For 2018 I’m going to try more products from them.
After receiving a Marc Jacobs Beauty box and seeing different blog posts raving about their products, Marc Jacobs is a brand I would like to experience more of. Their packaging is so chic and high end, it feels like a true luxury to possess them. The quality is outstanding and I can’t wait to sample more of their make up.
I love Kat Von D as a brand, it stands out from the other pretty cosmetics brands with it’s edgy style. There is many much loved products by beauty gurus and I have yet to had the pleasure of trying them out for myself. If you read my liquid eyeliner reviews post you would have seen I wasn’t keen on the Trooper Liner but many others adore it. However the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick is to die for and I’m living for the day I have a collection full of these. The Lock It concealer and foundation are next on my list to trial.
How beautiful is this highlighter from Tarte? It’s Goddess Glow from the Christmas Collection and I have a review of it coming soon. As Tarte is quite hard to get hold of in the UK, this is the only item I have from the brand. Their palettes are to die for and I’ve lusted after the Tartelette In Bloom eye shadow palette forever. I think I’ll stock up on some goodies when I go to New York in May.
These are some of the products and brands I would like to experience more from this year. I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading XOXO.
