The Ordinary is a brand that I have only recently discovered after many other bloggers rave about their skincare. It’s aim is to provide high quality products that are affordable and trustworthy. With the motto “Clinical formulations with integrity”, The Ordinary is a brand I’m keen to trial.
Currently Thomas Cook are offering a free £15.00 Feel Unique voucher when you spend over £350 on currency exchange. With my recent trip to New York (read here), I gladly took up the offer and wanted to share with you what I brought.
The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA
This is the first product I chose as it contains Hyaluronic Acid that helps the surface of your skin retain the hydration keeping it looking plump and moisturised. I’ll use this over a serum in my night time skincare routine to lock in the moisture and maximise the results of my skincare. It has 11 amino acids in total along with other natural compounds to protect and hydrate the outer layer of the skin.
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + Ha 2%
A mild Lactic Acid formulation that offers a nonirritating exfoliation for the skin. This claims to visibly target uneven skin tone, irregular texture and fine lines. Since I’m getting older I’m getting more serious about my skincare and this product has so many good reviews that I couldn’t pass it up. As I’m new to Lactic Acid I went for the weaker 5% option, but The Ordinary also offer a 10% version too which I will move onto once I’m done with this bottle (if I like it of course).
The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%
The Argireline Solution is a lightweight serum containing 10% Argireline Peptide Complex. Through controlled studies Argireline has been shown to improve the facial areas that are prone to developing dynamic folds such as the forehead and around the eyes. I brought this with the intention of applying it under a moisturiser to reduce and prevent any fine lines that may be formed.
That was my mini The Ordinary Skincare Haul, I’ll keep you updated with how I got on with each product. Have you ever tried any of these, did you like them? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading XOXO.
