Beauty Wish List | Summer 2018

If you read my previous blog post, July Goals, you would’ve seen I wanted to participate in No Buy July. This means I am not allowed to spend money on makeup, clothes, skincare, handbags, etc… you know, the good stuff! Well, that doesn’t mean a girl can’t dream, right? I’ve put together a little Beauty Wish List so that when I finish with my No Buy July I can evaluate what products I’m still lusting after and if I still want them 3 weeks down the line.

I love making wish lists as it gives me enough time to truly decide if I want a product or not instead of just buying it without a second thought. It’s also a lot of fun checking out new products, maybe not as much as buying them, but at least my purse isn’t empty at the end of it.

Urban Decay Born To Run Palette

This was the first product that went on my wish list. As soon as I saw the shades, I wanted it. With an impressive 21 shades, from the basic essential nudes to the pops of colour, this palette would be a great addition to my collection. It has a big mirror and I really like the pictures they’ve used on the packaging.

Cost: £39.50
Available: Urban Decay

ZOEVA Voyager Travel Brush Set

To go with the new eyeshadow palette, a little brush set would obviously be needed. I really like this travel brush set from ZOEVA that features 4 different brushes that would be ideal for using on holiday and the price is pretty reasonable too. I’d use them all for my eye looks that I’d create.

Cost: £22.00
Available: Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty & Selfridges

Fabulous Beauty Awards Beauty Box

img_4485

This beauty box is worth an impressive £78 but costs just a fraction of the price. It includes 14 different products and a 24hr pass to Beauty Pie. I’d use every single thing in here and I think it’s great value for money. The brands featured are all well known and products that are loved by the masses. I need this, I hope it doesn’t go out of stock before July ends.

Cost: £20.00
Available: Latest In Beauty

Becca Be A Light Palette

img_4487

How beautiful is this face palette from Becca? Inside there is 4 sheer glow filter powders that brighten, blur, contour and blush. The rose gold packaging is to die for and that blush is stunning, I adore the swirl pattern. It’s almost too pretty to use. There’s also a mirror too, which is always useful.

Cost: £35.00
Available: Cult Beauty, John Lewis & Space NK

MAC Prep & Prime Fix+ Spray Pinklite

img_4483

I already own the original Fix+ Spray which is my favourite but seeing how pretty this pink one is, I want this one too. It has pearlescent particles to give a glowing, radiant shimmer. This is a product I’d hold off buying until I’ve used up more of my setting sprays however.

Cost: £19.00
Available: Debenhams, House Of Fraser, John Lewis, Look Fantastic & MAC

Too Faced One Hot Mama Set

img_4478

This is a gift set from Too Faced that consists of a full size melted matte lipstick in Queen B, a deluxe version of the Better Than Sex mascara, a deluxe size candlelight rosy glow highlighter, a pink flatbuki brush and a makeup bag. The makeup bag is everything it says, “You’re Like, Really Pretty” which I’m sure I don’t have to tell you is a famous Regina George quote (Mean Girls). I’ve always want to try the Better Than Sex Mascara and a Melted Matte Lipstick and I think this set is a great way to try something new.

Cost: £29.00
Available: Cult Beauty & Debenhams

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette

Another palette on this wish list is the new eyeshadow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills named Soft Glam. I’ve never tried anything from this brand but I really want to see what the hype is all about. Some of her other palettes have not interested me but this one feels like one I would get a good amount of use from. There’s 14 shades which range from light mattes to shimmery glitters.

Cost: £43.00
Available: Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty, Feel Unique & Selfridges

ASOS Clinique Box

img_4488

I always need new skincare and this Clinique box from ASOS caught my eye straight away. It includes 5 products such as a charcoal clay mask and scrub, a SPF25 face protector, cleansing balm, hydrating jelly and a moisture hydrator. These ASOS boxes sell out really quickly and always good value for money.

Cost: £15.00
Available: ASOS

Those are my products on my current beauty wish list. Is there anything on here you’ve tried? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading XOXO.
